Reflections on Loss and Commemoration
September 8 – 30The Wolfsonian-FIU will mark the tenth anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001, by unveiling Reflections on Loss and Commemoration, an installation of objects on view through September 30. Reflections on Loss and Commemoration explores how humans record and commemorate disaster, tragedy, and loss through the visual arts. The Wolfsonian is open Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun from noon to 6 p.m. and Thurs & Fri from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults; $5 for seniors, students, and children age 6 -12; and free for Wolfsonian members, State University System of Florida staff and students with ID, and children under six.
